PICO2000© Applications - ATM

The PICO2000© ATM application allows financial institutions to integrate their ATM network with their security system.

Any PICO2000© system can be connected to the ATM network through a COM port. Some cameras connected to the system will be designated as ATM cameras. When a customer enters their card in the ATM machine, a transaction number is sent to the PICO2000© system. This will trigger the ATM camera to start recording. As well as recording at the point when a card is entered into the ATM machine, up to three minutes of video can be recorded previous to the card being entered.

The transaction number sent to the PICO2000© can be overlaid on the video as well as any other information required. The transaction number overlay is completely customizable within the software for font, size, colour, location on screen, etc. A prefix can also be added for extra information.

When it comes to retrieving video, the specialized ATM Playback can be used to view video both from the server itself or from a remote location. ATM recordings are stored separately from general surveillance video. Files can be searched by transaction number(s) or time allowing quick and easy access to video of interest.

Multiple ATM machines can be monitored by a single PICO2000© system and cameras not designated as ATM cameras can still be used for general surveillance.
