PICO2000© Applications - POS

The PICO2000© POS application allows retailers to integrate their Point Of Sales system with their security system.

PICO2000© POS integrates with existing POS systems by tapping into the receipt printer line or through an external port on the register. This makes the system very flexible and easy to add to an existing enterprise.

Many common printer receipt protocols are supported with the option of allowing customers add support for more POS systems through an open interface.

The systems works as follows:

Registers are connected to the PICO2000© either by tapping the printer line or through an external port from the register to the PICO2000© unit.
Cameras are assigned to registers within the software. These cameras now act as POS cameras.
When receipt data is received from the register, it can be overlaid on top of the current video recording.
A copy of the receipts is stored along with it's associated video file.
The PICO2000© POS also supports a Virtual Port interface which allows registers to be connected over a network instead of being directly connected to the PICO2000© unit.

An advanced POS Playback is also included in the application.

This is a web based playback allowing users to access their POS video files from anywhere. It is protected by the systems access control manager.

Users can search video files by time/date or by a keyword search on receipts.

When a video file is selected, the receipt(s) associated with that file will also be displayed.

When the user clicks on a receipt entry, the full receipt is displayed and the video will jump to the moment when the receipt was issued.
